Level 3 Pickleball Director Course

The Level 3 Pickleball Director Course is an advanced training program designed for experienced coaches and professionals seeking to elevate their coaching expertise to a leadership level. This comprehensive course prepares participants to take on the role of Pickleball Director, overseeing coaching programs, player development pathways, and strategic initiatives within Pickleball ​clubs, academies, and organizations. The course is delivered online giving coaches the opportunity to study in their own time and at their own speed.

Course Content

1. Leadership and Management Skills:
   • Advanced leadership principles and techniques for effective team management, motivation, and collaboration.
   • Strategic planning, goal setting, and decision-making skills for guiding pickleball programs and initiatives.
2. Program Development and Implementation:
   • Designing and implementing comprehensive pickleball coaching programs tailored to the needs of different player demographics and skill levels.
   • Developing curriculum frameworks, lesson plans, and training schedules to optimize player development pathways.
3. Coach Development and Mentoring:
   • Mentoring and supporting coaches to enhance their coaching skills, professional development, and career progression.
   • Providing ongoing feedback, guidance, and resources to cultivate a culture of coaching excellence within the organization.
4. Talent Identification and Pathways:
   • Identifying and nurturing talent through systematic talent identification processes and player development pathways.

   • Financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation strategies to ensure sustainability and growth of pickleball programs.
   • Maximizing revenue streams, fundraising opportunities, and sponsorship support for program expansion and enhancement.
7. Quality Assurance and Evaluation:

Certification and Assessment

Upon successful completion of the Level 3 Pickleball Director Course, participants will undergo comprehensive assessment to evaluate their leadership abilities, strategic planning skills, and proficiency in program development and management. Certification will be awarded to candidates who demonstrate mastery of course content and director-level competencies. 
​On successful completion of the course and test you will be awarded the grade of Pickleball Director. Certification is issued by Pickleball ​International and the International Coaches Association
