Level 3 International Professional Coach Course
The High-Performance Padel Coach Education Course is designed for coaches who aspire to develop players capable of competing on the international stage, where precision, intelligence, and consistency define success. This programme goes far beyond technical instruction, offering a fully integrated approach to elite player development that blends advanced tactics, biomechanics, performance science, psychology, and professional coaching behaviours. Drawing from the methods used at the highest levels of Premier Padel and FIP competition, the course equips coaches with the knowledge, practical tools, and strategic frameworks needed to build world-class training environments, guide long-term player progression, and make informed decisions under competitive pressure. Whether preparing emerging talent or supporting established professionals, coaches completing this course will be ready to lead with clarity, purpose, and high-performance standards.

  • Developer of long-term athlete behaviours (decision making, resilience, professionalism)
  • Manager of interdisciplinary teams (S&C, physio, psychologist, analyst)
1.2 Performance Framework for Elite Padel
  • Technical Core→ trajectories, timings, contact windows, spin
  • Tactical Core→ court control, transitions, role specialisation
  • Physical Core → acceleration, deceleration, rotational power, on-court endurance
  • Mental Core→ clarity, emotional control, pair-synergy psychology
  • Competition Core → preparation, scouting, match plans, review cycles
MODULE 2: ADVANCED TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT2.1 Professional Stroke Architecture
  • Breakdown of each elite-level shot including contact height, energy transfer, and biomechanical checkpoints:
  • Bandeja / Vibora (Variations: aggressive, defensive, side-spin, top-spin hybrid)
  • Tray / High Defensive Lobs
  • Off-the-wall Defences: double-wall, single-wall timing, late vs early contact
  • Power strokes: Gancho, Rulo, víbora lift, attacking x3/x4
  • Net Play: weighted volleys, dead-touch volleys, aggressive clamp volleys
2.2 Professional Baking of Technical Skills
  • Biomechanical progression model: isolated → dynamic → applied → chaotic
  • Using micro-adjustments of footwork to change shot identity
  • Teaching “trajectory mastery” rather than “shot reproduction”
  • Data-driven shot selection: high-percentage technical patterns
  • Individualisation for left-court vs right-court players
MODULE 3: ELITE TACTICAL SYSTEMS
3.1 The Padel Chessboard: Space, Time, Pressure
  • Understanding pressure cycles (offensive → neutral → defensive → escape → reset)
  • Tactical manipulation: using height, depth and tempo to create predictable responses
  • Defensive patience vs attacking acceleration
3.2 Pair Dynamics & Role Definition
  • Left-side player: aggression, finishing, volley dominance
  • Right-side player: stability, construction, bandeja quality
  • Rotation systems: mirror rotations, cross-coverage, tempo shifts
  • Communication protocols before, during, after points
3.3 Advanced Tactical Models
  • Net Domination Model
  • The 4-Phase “Build–Pressure–Finish–Reset” System
  • Defensive Escapes (using lob height, wall variation, reverse tempo)
  • Attacking Schemes
  • Low-tempo build
  • High-tempo trap
  • V-shape net patterns
  • Middle-channel traps
  • Side-wall exploitation
3.4 Match Strategy for Professional Level

  • In-season vs off-season programming
  • Plyometrics for padel-specific movement
  • Rotational & anti-rotational strength
  • Shoulder & elbow protection for bandeja-heavy workloads
4.3 On-Court Physical Conditioning
  • Ball-fed conditioning (intervals, movement patterns)
  • Wall-based change-of-direction drills
  • Overload conditioning through volume manipulation
  • Load monitoring and fatigue scoring tools
